©Gill Billington. All rights reserved. The wonderful architecture of this ancient medieval stone church in Thaxted, Essex, UK is photographed here with a dramatic stormy sky. The clock and spire, towering above you and the gargoyle staring down gives it a gothic, haunted spooky appearance especially in black and white and suggested the title to me of the Wrath of God. The church building was started in 1340 and not completely finished until 1510.This famous landmark is a tourist attraction in this lovely rural town.

The shape of man-made designs like cars and architecture excite me but I also love nature, from the joy of looking at the ever changing clouds in the sky to the intricate detail that is revealed when getting up close and personal with flowers and seashells.
