Artist's Description

©Gill Billington. All rights reserved. View of the bow of the restored Cutty Sark tea clipper with one of the old figureheads, a golden eagle in the foreground. The ship was built in 1869 and used to transport tea from China, then from 1885 to 1895 it was used to bring wool from Sydney, Australia to London. In 1954 the ship was transferred to dry dock in Greenwich, London and has now been fully restored. This picture makes great modern or contemporary interior design room decor for your home or business.

About Gill Billington

Gill Billington

The shape of man-made designs like cars and architecture excite me but I also love nature, from the joy of looking at the ever changing clouds in the sky to the intricate detail that is revealed when getting up close and personal with flowers and seashells. I enjoy producing creative images from my photographs to make stunning artwork for your home or business. I have exhibited my work at The Tudor House Gallery in Sawbridgeworth, The Maynard Gallery in Welwyn Garden City and The Mardleybury Gallery in Datchworth. I also sell my images worldwide via my website here and at GillBillingtonArt.com **ALL PHOTOGRAPHS AND ARTWORKS IN THIS PORTFOLIO ARE COPYRIGHTED AND OWNED BY GILL BILLINGTON.
