©Gill Billington. All rights reserved. Old architecture meets new at Kings Cross Station in London in the UK. The architects John McAsian and Partners designed the new look station with it's shell-like roof of glass, steel and aluminium, bathed in purple lights and rising 66 feet above the ground, to seamlessly thread with the historic Grade 1 listed existing buildings which were originally designed by the architect Lewis Cubitt from 1850 to 1852.
