©Gill Billington. All rights reserved. I have been watching my apple tree for days now that it is spring. The tight pink buds have gradually opened and now the tree is in full bloom and covered in glorious pink blossom.
The honey bees are having a busy time constantly flitting from one flower to another until their pollen sacs are full. The sun is shining through the branches as has caught this worker bee making the orange stripes on his body glow in the light. Nature is a truly marvellous thing!
