There is still construction going on in this busy tourist area and skyscrapers containing both commercial and residential properties are still being built.
Originally this was part of the Port of London with hundreds of boats arriving with goods from all parts of the world and after many years of disuse it has been regenerated into a popular place to live and work as well as a tourist destination.
